Welcome to the Romantically Apocalyptic Wiki

A Wiki about the online webcomic "Romantically Apocalyptic" located at:

(The following is taken from

I am The Captain . The year is 20__ something something.
I stopped counting a while ago, and therefore not sure what day it is.
Humanity is virtually wiped out in a nuclear holocaust.
Me and my last squad: pilot, sniper and engie, live in the wasteland ruins of tomorrow.
This is my story.
I am captain.

The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic future. It follows the characters Captain (Subject 7), Sniper (Charles Snippy), Pilot (Christophorus Hatchenson) and Engineer (Alexander Gromov) in their lives in the wastelands. According to the printed version of the comic: Romantically Apocalyptic is a high-detailed graphic novel that combines delicious servings of: end of the world / life in a dark post-apocalyptic dystopia, and twisted humor.

The comic is produced by Vitaly S. Alexius with assistance of Meeshka Samarin and Chico. Vitaly's website can be found at It is made using, according to the website: "Photoshop, live actors, dead actors, sexy assistants, greenscreen, a camera, and a Wacom tablet." Each comic page is digitally painted and contains 1 terabyte of stock pictures that Vitaly collected over more than 6 years in "real abandoned, forgotten places of our world".

Pages used to be released at variying times. However, with it becoming the team's priority, the comic started getting released every Saturday, then every Wednesday and Saturday. The schedule reverted back to being every Saturday, as Alexius and other people of the Romantically Apocalyptic team are going to many conventions around the world to promote the comic.

The comic is being translated in 40 languages, although many translations are severly lagging behind. A list of translations can be found here.
